It is a well made case for the price but the inside dimensions of carrying case are too small to carry a Kindle DX assembled in a Kindle leather cover. Inside of case has 4 radiused corners so full use of interior advertised rectangular dimensions cannot be achieved. Another .5 inch all round on interior dimensions and it would be perfect. Reading lamp cannot be carried inside case with Kindle.
I would not recommend this as a Kindle DX carrying case if you want to keep your Kindle DX assembled in a Kindle leather cover.
