If you love your Kindle and use it as much as I do mine, you might want to invest in this protective case. It snaps on easily and protects the reader from dirt and bumps. For obvious reasons, I haven’t tested how much it would help if the Kindle was dropped but at least I feel as if it’s safer. There’s also a hard screen protector that’s designed so that you can choose to use it or not. I’ve opted not to use it as I already have a protective film over my screen. I might be more inclined to use the screen cover if I was going to be doing a lot of traveling. One of the best features of this case is the stand on the back which allows you to prop the kindle up in front of you (similar to a picture frame) for easier reading. I bought the clear one but if I had it to do over again, I might choose a color just for fun.

We didn’t really get a choice of colors when I ordered the Mcover from Amazon. They sent me clear, which was fine.
The front and back halves snap onto the Kindle separately. It is quick and easy and they hold securely. There is a plastic screen protector, which fit neatly and was easy to add, but I took mine off. It caused too much glare.
One reviewer noted the “Scotch tape effect” on the four corners of the front cover. I noticed that, too. There are crevices where the tabs that hold the cover to the Kindle are that looked dirty. It bothered me enough to try cleaning it with soap and an old toothbrush. That did the trick, although I don’t think it should have been necessary. A new product from the store should have been cleaned before the buyer sees it.
I am a horrible klutz, and the Kindle is too slippery for my hands. This cover helps provide me with more grip. It is not too bulky and the little stand in the back has come in useful a few times. I like the feeling that my Kindle now has a little protection in case I drop it . . . again (it’s been dropped twice before I got this cover).
I still use the Belkin Neoprene Kindle Case (Fits 6″ Display, Latest Generation Kindle) case to store my Kindle in. It fits in there with the Mcover on and provides dual protection.
PROS:
+ hard shell protection for the Kindle
+ not too bulky
+ provides grip
+ has a stand to place it upright on the table
CONS:
- plastic screen protector has too much glare
- “Scotch tape effect” on the corners (can be cleaned)
