I purchased the neoprene sleeve in hopes of replacing the original Kindle cover. I was looking specifically for something that would keep my Kindle safe and wouldn’t pull the back cover off it when sliding it out. The fit is tight for the Kindle and you have to put it in exactly right. Of course, the tight fit is great for protection but it does pull the back cover off the Kindle when you slide it out. I think the best cover would be a vertical slide in rather than this horizontal one.
The pros: it is an incredibly soft sleeve and holds the Kindle tightly. It is also smaller and easier to slip into a bag or purse.
The cons: It pulls the back cover off the Kindle when you try to pull it out. It smells terrible…like rubber tires.
