I bought this for myself after receiving the KDX as a graduation gift. I chose this over the Amazon cover because of its inside compartments and its color.
Yes, the price is exorbitant, but it is well worth it for what you get. The leather feels great (inside and out) and I find myself rubbing it absent-mindedly while reading. The cover is firm, yet soft to the touch. And that new leather smell is wonderful! It does a great job of protecting my KDX while I’m reading, on the go, or while it is just lying around. It also fits nicely into my larger purses and bags.
I love this cover and recommend it to anyone with a KDX. You can’t just leave something that expensive uncovered.
Tip: When going to the beach, slip your KDX into a Ziploc plastic bag. It does nothing to hamper your viewing of the text, and protects your KDX from the sand and wayward water droplets. It is still easy to use the controls when it is in the bag too.

Love this cover, couldn’t be more perfect. I ordered the hot pink,very fashionable and extremely well made. Your Kindle is such a big investment, you need a “proper” cover to protect it.
This vendor was very easy to work with, I ordered the wrong size by mistake and they immediately corrected MY mistake.
