When I found myself with a depleted cell phone several hours into a twelve hour drive, with nothing but an AC charger stowed in a suitcase, I stopped at the first electronics store I could find to buy a charger.

Without hesitation, I purchased the iGo Autopower 3000, along with two tips, one for my Motorola V300 and one for my father’s Sprint PCS phone.

The IGO AutoPower 3000 is basically a generic 12v adapter. You plug in your device-specific interchangeable tip to charge your electronics device. In my case, it was a cell phone.

We used both during the trip to charge our phones without any problems.

    Simple, reliable, and effective. Recommended.

I’m a little confused with the description of this item. They imply that it delivers differing output voltages for various appliances you want to power, but nowhere do they actually state this outright. It works fine for my Kyocera phone. But will it also work for a nine-volt radio or a three-volt set of noise-reduction headphones? If I find out that it does, I’ll change my four stars to five.
